A "signal-on" photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunosensor was successfully constructed for determination of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) based on organic-inorganic heterojunction Y6/CdS as photoactive material. Compared with single organic semiconductor, Y6, Y6/CdS exhibited higher photoelectric conversion efficiency due to the formation of heterojunction. In the presence of HER2, sandwich immune structure was formed between HER2 aptamer and anti-HER2 antibody (Ab) by specific recognition.

One beam of the polarized light is used to generate broadband chaos by configuring a nonlinear opto-electronic oscillator while the other beam carries the encrypted signal. The encrypted signal is obtained through sequential encryption of the analog and digital chaos.

The plastic forming process involves many influencing factors and has some inevitable disturbance factors, rendering the multi-objective collaborative optimization difficult. With the rapid development of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, intelligent process optimization has become one of the critical technologies for plastic forming. This paper elaborated on the research progress on the intelligent optimization of plastic forming and the data-driven process planning and decision-making system in plastic forming process optimization.

Cascaded by three optimally designed mode converters that do not affect the non-target modes, the proposed CMC can realize the conversion of any input mode among the TE/TE/TM/TM modes. The three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain (3D-FDTD) simulation results show that the insertion loss of our device is less than 0.

However, for a high-speed SHCD system, the device imperfection such as transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) side in-phase (I)/quadrature-phase (Q) time skew and bandwidth limitation will greatly restrict the transmission performance. The current mainstream calibration methods for traditional optical transceivers rely on the effect of frequency offset and phase noise to separate the Tx and Rx imperfection, which is not compatible with the SHCD system.

However, the study of the Li-Se battery, particularly a Li-Se all-solid-state battery (ASSB), is still in its infancy. Herein, we report the performance of Li-Se ASSBs at both room temperature (RT) and high temperature (HT, 50 °C), using a LiSiPSCl (LSPSCl) solid-state electrolyte and Li-In anode.

The cooperation of the QNSC and DSM mechanisms makes it possible to transmit an ultrahigh-order encrypted signal in the non-return-to-zero (NRZ) on-off keying (OOK) format. The delivery of the NRZ OOK waveform over the fiber link allows us to send and receive signals using digital ports, instead of high-speed and high-resolution digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) in conventional QNSC systems.

Albumin is widely used in clinics due to its demonstrated biological safety and functional flexibility. Hydrogels derived from natural albumin possess high moisture retention ability and good biodegradability, making albumin ideal biomaterials compared with synthetic polymers. Herein, by reducing disulfide bonds in bovine serum albumin molecules with glutathione and re-oxidizing the free thiols using dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as additional oxidant, three-dimensional network was assembled, leading to the formation of hydrogel.

Methods: This study retrospectively reviewed the patients who were diagnosed with OVACF between September 2015 and July 2019. Forty-one patients received PVP surgery (group A), and 44 patients received PKP surgery (group B).
Background: This study aimed to analyze the efficacy of the simultaneous rectification of adjacent asymptomatic lumbar disc herniation (asLDH) of L5-S1 isthmic spondylolisthesis (IS).
Methods: One hundred and forty-eight patients with L5-S1 IS, and simultaneous L4-5 asLDH, were recruited between January 2012 and December 2017, for this study. Group A: seventy-two patients received PLIF at L5-S1.
Background: Blastocystis is a common protistan parasite inhabiting the gastrointestinal tract of humans and animals. While there are increasing reports characterizing the associations between Blastocystis and the gut microbiome in healthy individuals, only a few studies have investigated the relationships between Blastocystis and the gut microbiota in diarrheal patients.
Methods: The effects of a specific subtype (ST7) of Blastocystis on the composition of gut microbiota in diarrheal patients were investigated using 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene sequencing and bioinformatic analyses.
Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), the treatment of multiple cancer types, can be associated with respiratory system adverse events (AEs). The aim of this study is to quantify the association of respiratory system AEs and ICIs and to characterize the profiles of ICI-related respiratory system complications from Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) data.
Methods: The disproportionality of respiratory system AE-related ICIs based on FAERS data from January 2014 to September 2021 was analyzed using the reporting odds ratio (ROR) and information component (IC) as measures of potential risk increase.

A growing number of studies have confirmed the important role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in human diseases and the aberrant expression of miRNAs affects the onset and progression of human diseases. The discovery of disease-associated miRNAs as new biomarkers promote the progress of disease pathology and clinical medicine. However, only a small proportion of miRNA-disease correlations have been validated by biological experiments.

The proposed CMC can realize cyclical interchange of any input mode among the LP/LP/LP modes, which requires only one mechanical grating. The mode conversion is evaluated by observing the mode field patterns of the fiber output.

Triglyceride-rich lipoproteins and their remnants contribute to atherosclerosis, possibly by carrying remnant cholesterol and/or by exerting a proinflammatory effect on macrophages. Nevertheless, little is known about how macrophages process triglyceride-rich lipoproteins.

Recent advancements in representation learning have been shown to greatly improve the performance of molecular property prediction. However, due to limited labeled data, supervised learning-based molecular representation algorithms can only search limited chemical space and suffer from poor generalizability.
