Based on emotional security, stress, and spillover and crossover theories, this study aimed to examine the indirect pathways between destructive and constructive interparental conflict, parenting stress, unsupportive parenting, and child insecurity six months later. Using data from two time points beginning when Korean children ( = 159) were approximately 3-5 years old, two dual-mediation models of the relevant variables were constructed. The results indicate that destructive conflict is associated with higher levels of parenting stress, whereas constructive conflict is associated with lower levels of stress.

Previous evolutionary models of duplicate gene evolution have overlooked the pivotal role of genome architecture. Here, we show that proximity-based regulatory recruitment by distally duplicated genes is an efficient mechanism for modulating tissue-specific production of preexisting proteins. By leveraging genomic asymmetries, we performed a coexpression analysis on tissue data to show the generality of enhancer capture-divergence (ECD) as a significant evolutionary driver of asymmetric, distally duplicated genes.

This study presents a novel approach for maxillary advancement in a patient with cleft lip and palate, utilizing the assembly of a custom titanium implant and a ready-made distractor. The patient exhibited significant maxillary hypoplasia and had concerns regarding the possible deterioration of hypernasality after conventional surgical methods. Efforts to combine the advantages of homogeneous catalysts in terms of activity with the ease of separation process offered by heterogeneous catalysts continue to be actively pursued in the field of catalyst development. Heterogeneous catalysts were synthesized from Ru-MACHO organometallic compounds, recognized for their high hydrogenation catalytic activity linked to the active site of the Ru-PNP motif, through direct polymerization utilizing the Friedel-Crafts reaction. These catalysts were then applied for the conversion of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO) into formate via hydrogenation, exhibited with a record-high turnover frequency of 31,700 and a productivity of 36,100 kg/(kg ⋅ d).
