Background: Numerous strategies for preventing abusive head trauma (AHT) have been proposed, but controlled studies failed to demonstrate their effectiveness. Digital tools may improve the effectiveness of AHT prevention strategies by reaching a large proportion of the adult population.
Objective: This study aimed to describe the characteristics of videos of AHT prevention published on the internet, including their quality content, and to study their association with popularity.
Background: Maintenance niraparib at an individualized starting dose (ISD) is established in platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer (PSROC). However, patients' perspectives on the burden of prolonged maintenance therapy have not been reported in prospective trials or routine practice.
Methods: In the real-life multicenter NiQoLe study, patients with PSROC received ISD maintenance niraparib.
Objective: To evaluate the prognostic impact of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detection at diagnosis (T0) and its early decrease after one cycle (T1) of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) included in the CHIVA trial (NCT01583322).
Methods: Blood samples were collected at T0 and before each administration of NACT. Circulating tumor DNA detection was performed by next-generation sequencing.
Vesicle trafficking and the establishment of apicobasal polarity are essential processes in epithelial morphogenesis. UNC45A deficiency has been reported in a multi-organ syndrome presenting with severe diarrhea associated with enterocyte polarity defects. Myosin 1b, an actin motor able to bind membranes, regulates membrane shaping and vesicle trafficking.

Materials And Methods: LURBICLIN is a nationwide, non-interventional, retrospective chart review study, based on the cohort of consecutive patients enrolled in the named patient use for lurbinectedin in France.
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have advanced the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study evaluates the predictive value of CD8 T cell exhaustion in patients with lung adenocarcinoma treated with ICIs. By analyzing tumor samples from 166 patients through multiplex immunofluorescence, we quantify tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) expressing exhaustion markers programmed cell death-1 (PD1), lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG3), T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT), and T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3 (TIM3).

Understanding the efficacy of first subsequent therapy (FST) in patients experiencing disease progression in the first-line setting is important to optimize postprogression treatments. We evaluated the efficacy of FST in patients from PAOLA-1/ENGOT-ov25 (NCT02477644) who received first-line olaparib maintenance.

The molecular design is constructed on the general donor-spiro-acceptor architecture, which consists of connecting, via a spiro bridge, a donor and an acceptor units in order to avoid strong interaction between them. The DMB fragment is known for many electronic applications (notably Aggregation-Induced Emission) but has not been used yet for SL-PhOLED applications.

Methods: Individual data from three phase III, randomized controlled trials (AGO-OVAR 11, AGO-OVAR 12, and AGO-OVAR 16) and one phase II trial (AGO-OVAR 15) were pooled and analyzed. Patients were classified as ever user if the specific co-medication was documented at least once during the trial, and were compared with never users as controls.
Purpose: To evaluate atezolizumab combined with platinum-based chemotherapy (CT) followed by maintenance niraparib for late-relapsing recurrent ovarian cancer.
Methods: The multicenter placebo-controlled double-blind randomized phase III ENGOT-OV41/GEICO 69-O/ANITA trial (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT03598270) enrolled patients with measurable high-grade serous, endometrioid, or undifferentiated recurrent ovarian cancer who had received one or two previous CT lines (most recent including platinum) and had a treatment-free interval since last platinum (TFIp) of >6 months.
Background: The way that pain is assessed in the PACU could impact on postoperative pain and analgesic consumption. However, there is currently no evidence to support this speculation. The authors hypothesised that using a comfort scale reduces postoperative opioid consumption when compared with a standard numerical rating scale (NRS) to evaluate pain in the PACU.

In this study, we evaluated the performance of the EUCAST RAST method on a collection of 154 clinical strains of P. aeruginosa, including strains resistant to ceftazidime and carbapenems. While the test is convenient for routine laboratories, we observed significant rates of VME (ranging from 0.

Subsequently, a clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival was reported with olaparib plus bevacizumab in the HRD-positive subgroup. We report updated progression-free survival and overall survival by clinical risk and HRD status.

In the BEATcc trial (ENGOT-Cx10-GEICO 68-C-JGOG1084-GOG-3030), we aimed to evaluate the addition of an immune checkpoint inhibitor to this standard backbone.
Methods: In this investigator-initiated, randomised, open-label, phase 3 trial, patients from 92 sites in Europe, Japan, and the USA with metastatic (stage IVB), persistent, or recurrent cervical cancer that was measurable, previously untreated, and not amenable to curative surgery or radiation were randomly assigned 1:1 to receive standard therapy (cisplatin 50 mg/m or carboplatin area under the curve of 5, paclitaxel 175 mg/m, and bevacizumab 15 mg/kg, all on day 1 of every 3-week cycle) with or without atezolizumab 1200 mg.
Purpose: Platinum-based doublets with concurrent and maintenance bevacizumab are standard therapy for ovarian cancer (OC) relapsing after a platinum-free interval (PFI) >6 months. Immunotherapy may be synergistic with bevacizumab and chemotherapy.
Patients And Methods: ATALANTE/ENGOT-ov29 (ClinicalTrials.
Background And Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the incidence and predictive factors of Pelvic Insufficiency Fractures (PIFs) occurring after Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) combined with chemotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer (CC).
Material And Methods: Medical records of patients receiving radio-chemotherapy with IMRT between 2010 and 2020 for advanced CC were reviewed. PIFs were detected during follow-up on pelvic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Computed Tomography (CT).
Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) are inducible ectopic lymphoid aggregates, which form in response to various inflammatory situations, including cancer. TLS are notably composed of B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes, mature dendritic cells and other key players such as high endothelial venules. Furthermore, TLS can present different levels of organization and maturation, from simple T/B lymphocyte aggregates to authentic mature B cell follicles with germinal centers adjacent to T cell rich areas.

Thus, development of dedicated clinical trial emerged as a prerequisite to improve their managements. Owing to the spreading of dedicated institutional networks and (supra)national collaborations, the number of clinical trials has increased the past few years, with different types of trials; while some focused on specific molecular features, others assessed innovative molecules.

In this work, we report the first experimental investigations linking the size of a nanohoop to its charge transport properties, a key property in organic electronics. We describe the synthesis and study of the first example of a cyclocarbazole possessing five constituting building units, namely [5]-cyclo-N-butyl-2,7-carbazole, [5]C-Bu-Cbz.

We generated induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from a patient with a homozygous missense mutation in UNC45A. Cells from this patient, which were reprogrammed using integration-free Sendaï virus, have normal karyotype, express pluripotency markers and are able to differentiate into the three germ cell layers.
