Myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1), the leading cause of adult-onset muscular dystrophy, is caused by a CTG repeat expansion. Expression of the repeat causes widespread alternative splicing (AS) defects and downstream pathogenesis, including significant skeletal muscle impacts. The mouse model plays a significant role in therapeutic development.

Successful CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing in skeletal muscle is dependent on efficient propagation of Cas9 to all myonuclei in the myofiber. However, nuclear-targeted gene therapy cargos are strongly restricted to their myonuclear domain of origin. By screening nuclear localization signals and nuclear export signals, we identify "Myospreader," a combination of short peptide sequences that promotes myonuclear propagation.

Whether this sex difference is accentuated, diminished, or stable under stressful conditions is, however, contested in the scientific literature. A critical blind spot lies amid this contestation: Most studies use standardized, laboratory-based, cognitive measures of decision making rather than complex real-life social simulation tasks to assess risk-related behavior.

These impacts may include monitoring frequency, treatment type, and disease staging level. The use of the synthetic oligonucleotide DSP30 combined with interleukin 2 (IL2) has been described as an effective mitotic stimulant in B-cell disorders, not only in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) but also in a range of other B-cell malignancies.

Delivery of antiserum directed against each immunogen conferred varying degrees of protection. Presentation of a B-cell epitope derived from the OMP P5 adhesin at the N-terminus of recombinant soluble PilA protein (as opposed to the C-terminus), resulted in a protective chimeric immunogen that combined epitopes from two distinct NTHI adhesins (type IV pili and OMP P5).
