Thrombocytopenia, a condition characterized by low platelet counts, can arise from various causes, including autoimmune diseases. Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a diagnosis made by excluding other possible causes, is categorized as primary or secondary, with primary ITP being idiopathic and secondary ITP associated with infections or autoimmune conditions. Gene/s sequencing in hereditary breast/ovary cancer (HBOC) in routine diagnosis is challenged by the analysis of panels. We aim to report a retrospective analysis of and non- gene sequencing in patients with breast/ovary cancer (BOC), including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), in our population. In total 2155 BOC patients (1900 analyzed in and 255 by multigenic panels) gave 372 (17.

Quantification of mRNA levels in peripheral blood of chronic myeloid leukemia patients is a strong indicator of response to tyrosine-kinase inhibitors (TKI) treatment. However, additional prognostic markers are needed in order to better classify patients. Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is characterized by the translocation t(9;22)(q34;q11) [Philadelphia (Ph) chromosome). Although not frequently occurring, additional chromosome abnormalities (ACAs) can be detected at diagnosis and a number have been associated with an adverse cytogenetic and molecular outcome. The present study reports a case of CML presenting with the translocation t(1;11)(q21;q23) and a cryptic Ph chromosome.
