The effects of heparin releasing hydrogels on vascular smooth muscle cell phenotype.

Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) hydrogel scaffolds were engineered to promote contractile smooth muscle cell (SMC) phenotype via controlled release of heparin.
