This study evaluated the effectiveness of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols in addressing these issues.

Laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD) is an alternative to open pancreaticoduodenectomy (OPD) for treatment of periampullary cancer in selected patients.
