Unlabelled: Recombinant chimeric horsepox virus (TNX-801) is a preclinical vaccine in development against mpox and smallpox. In this report, we investigated the potential phenotypic differences in and models between TNX-801 and older vaccinia virus (VACV)-based vaccine strains (VACV-Lis and VACV-NYCBH) used in the eradication of smallpox as well as VACV-WR, VACV-IHD, and MVA. TNX-801 displayed a small plaque phenotype (~1-2 mm) in BSC-40 and Vero-E6 cells.

Purpose: To examine patient-reported and return-to-sport outcomes of competitive American football athletes who underwent primary, single-staged, multiligament knee reconstruction.
Study Design: Case series; Level of evidence, 4.
Background: Prior investigations have utilized various surrogate markers of socioeconomic status to assess how health care disparities impact outcomes after rotator cuff repair (RCR). When taken as individual markers, these factors have inconsistent associations. Medicaid insurance status is an accessible marker that has recently been correlated with less optimal outcomes after RCR.

Objectives: The purposes of this study were to examine indications, radiographic outcomes, and clinical complications for primary arthrodesis of the great toe interphalangeal (IP) joint in young patients.
Background: Hallux valgus interphalangeus deformity of the great toe is uncommon in the pediatric population and often requires fusion of the IP joint.
Methods: A retrospective review of patients, ages 8 to 19 years, who underwent operative fusion of the great toe IP joint, and had >1 year radiographic follow-up was performed.
Radiologists are familiar with the appearances of a normal portal vein; variations in its anatomy are commonplace and require careful consideration due to the implications for surgery. These alterations in portal vein anatomy have characteristic appearances that are clearly depicted on CT, MR, and US images. Similarly, there are numerous congenital and acquired disorders of the portal vein that are deleterious to its function and can be diagnosed by using imaging alone.

However, there is a lack of data directly comparing the wastewater SARS-CoV-2 RNA concentration with the prevalence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in individuals living in sewershed areas. Here, we correlate wastewater SARS-CoV-2 signals with SARS-CoV-2 positivity rates in symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals and compare positivity rates in two underserved communities in Portland, Oregon to those reported in greater Multnomah County.

Surgical options include labral repair and biceps tenodesis. Although past studies are limited by heterogeneous study groups from multiple sports, this is the first study that assesses clinical outcomes and return to play rates for fast-pitch softball players.

The 20-session CAM program consists of yoga, Pilates and dual tasking exercises. The study aimed to enroll 820 participants with MS living in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

However, previous studies mostly compared wastewater to clinical case counts or nonrepresentative convenience samples, limiting their quantitative potential.
Objectives: This study examined whether wastewater SARS-CoV-2 concentrations could provide better estimations for SARS-CoV-2 community prevalence than reported cases of COVID-19.
With the rapid onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, wastewater-based epidemiology sampling methodologies for SARS-CoV-2 were often implemented quickly and may not have considered the unique drainage catchment characteristics. This study assessed the impact of grab versus composite sampling on the detection and quantification of SARS-CoV-2 in four different catchment scales with flow rates ranging from high flow (wastewater treatment plant influent) to medium flow (neighborhood scale) to low-flow (city block scale) to ultralow flow (building scale). At the high-flow site, grab samples were comparable to 24 h composite samples with SARS-CoV-2 detected in all samples and differed in concentration from the composite by <1 log 10 unit.

False small bowel diverticula (SBD) are acquired through herniation of the internal layers of the bowel wall through the muscularis propria. Peri-ampullary duodenal diverticula are a well-recognised example; however, the importance of more distal SBD in the jejunum and ileum is underappreciated, and they are under-reported on cross-sectional imaging.

Copious inhalation of nitrous oxide may increase intra-alveolar pressure, resulting in barotrauma secondary to alveolar rupture. Pneumomediastinum and subcutaneous emphysema are common clinical findings in nitrous oxide-associated barotrauma.

Surveillance of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) in wastewater can potentially provide an early warning signal of COVID-19 infections in a community. The capacity of the world's environmental microbiology and virology laboratories for SARS-CoV-2 RNA characterization in wastewater is increasing rapidly.

Insomnia affects millions of people worldwide, and non-pharmacological treatment options are limited. A bed excited with multiple vibration sources was used to explore beat frequency vibration (BFV) as a non-pharmacological treatment for insomnia. A repeated measures design pilot study of 14 participants with mild-moderate insomnia symptom severity (self-reported on the Insomnia Severity Index) was conducted to determine the effects of BFV, and traditional standing wave vibration (SWV) on sleep latency and sleep electrocortical activity.

It is the most common cause of main pancreatic duct haematoma-haematosuccus pancreaticus (HP). Neither SAP nor HP have specific clinical features that allow diagnosis without cross-sectional imaging.

Historically, concentrations enterococci and Clostridium perfringens were significantly higher during storm flows compared to non-storm flows in the Hanalei River, and correlated to total suspended solids in the river. During targeted dry weather studies, the Hanalei River bed sediments and streambank soils were documented to harbor E.

Three major fiber analyses are conducted routinely in the United States including crude fiber (CF), detergent fiber, and total dietary fiber (TDF). : Factors crucial to the successful measurement of dietary fibers are described and suggestions provided as to how to overcome potential analytical problems within assays.

This may be due to a pathological event within the peritoneal cavity or secondary to an underlying systemic condition. Ascites is broadly classified into transudate and exudate, based on protein content, with a potential wide range of differential diagnoses.

An 85-year-old female with an extensive past medical history attended our accident and emergency department with vague abdominal pain and distension. Clinical examination and initial blood tests demonstrated features of sepsis and she was commenced on broad spectrum antibiotics. Following admission, a contrast-enhanced CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis was performed, which showed an unusual configuration of the gallbladder.
