To achieve a successful practice, following the principles of the dozen A's is helpful: Ability, Availability, Amicability, Approachable, Attuned, Aware, Attentive to patients, Attentive to others, Attentive to details, Apology (ability to apologize and accept apology gracefully), Assimilate, Affordable. Another way to put it is "skills to treat, heart to care at a sensible price.
