Subtalar joint arthroereisis remains a popular procedure for a flexible flatfoot deformity. Potential complications of the procedure have been discussed in published reports and are often believed to have resulted from shortcomings related to the mechanical properties of the biomaterial, implant size, and/or implant placement. In the present report, we describe the case of a talar neck fracture with migration of the implant after subtalar joint arthroereisis performed 10 years earlier.
