Purpose: To evaluate the outcomes of resin-based yttrium-90 (Y) transarterial radioembolization (TARE) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) as a bridging or downstaging therapy to liver transplantation (LT) in terms of safety, tumor response, recurrence, and survival.
Materials And Methods: A single-center retrospective analysis of patients with HCC treated with resin-based TARE as bridging or downstaging treatment to LT between January 2006 and April 2021 was performed. TARE-related liver toxicity was assessed.
Background: Sarcopenia is an acknowledged risk factor for individuals with chronic liver disease, however, the influence on outcomes in patients receiving transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) remains underexplored.
Aims: This study aimed to investigate the association between sarcopenia and incidence of complications and mortality post-TIPS.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 175 patients who underwent TIPS between 2011-2021 at a Belgian tertiary care center.
Cavoportal hemitransposition (CPHT) is a rarely performed treatment technique in liver transplantation in cases of extensive splanchnic thrombosis, in which the inferior vena cava of the recipient is used to perfuse the portal vein of the allograft. A case of a 65-year-old liver transplantation patient with an acutely thrombosed cavoportal anastomosis is presented. After unsuccessful medical treatment, recanalization was obtained with transfemoral catheter directed thrombolysis, angioplasty and stent placement.

Research Question: As there is a wide variety of treatment possibilities, it can be hard to understand the intricacies which lie behind the decision-making process for a given aneurysm.
Introduction: Unruptured intracranial aneurysm treatment has evolved over the last two centuries, starting from the introduction of aneurysm ligation and clipping, up until the inception of endovascular treatment and further advancements in both fields.
Research Question: The wide variety of aneurysm presentations and possible treatment modalities, complicates the understanding of decision-making for the treatment of a given aneurysm. The goal of this article is to provide an overview of the best available evidence concerning unruptured intracranial aneurysm decision-making and identify insights and hiatuses, as well as providing a scaffold to surpass the subjectiveness of decision-making.

Methods: Thirty-one patients with SBB managed with TAE between January 2006 and December 2021 were included. Technical and clinical success was defined as angiographic occlusion of the bleeding artery and disappearance of clinical or laboratory signs of persistent bleeding without major complications.
Purpose: To retrospectively analyze the technical and long-term clinical outcome of angioplasty and stenting using the Venovo™ venous stent for the treatment of malignant and benign superior vena cava (SVC) occlusive disease.

We describe the safe and effective percutaneous pulmonary thrombectomy in an 18-year-old female with a Fontan circulation using the FlowTriever® device (Inari Medical®, Irvine, US). Aspiration thrombectomy of both pulmonary arteries was performed using 24 and 16 F FlowTriever® catheters retrieving large amounts of thrombus material resulting in near total angiographic recanalization.

We investigate the procedural characteristics and patients' clinical outcomes at discharge and at 90 days of follow-up.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed a cohort of 75 patients (median age, 74 years) treated with the NeVa device for acute large vessel occlusion stroke.
Purpose: Long-term outcome and prognostic factors of transcatheter embolization for gastroduodenal peptic ulcer bleeding are unknown. This study was conducted to evaluate the clinical outcome and factors associated with early recurrent bleeding and 30-day mortality of transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) for severe, upper gastroduodenal hemorrhage associated with peptic ulcer and refractory to medical and endoscopic therapy.
Methods: A monocenter, retrospective study from 2005 to 2020 including 76 consecutive patients who underwent TAE as first-line therapy for bleeding gastroduodenal peptic ulcers refractory to endoscopic therapy.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the safety, technical success and clinical outcome of percutaneous intranodal ethiodized oil (Lipiodol®) based lymphangiography (L-LAG) for the management of refractory pelvic lymphoceles or chylous ascites using high doses of ethiodized oil.
Materials And Methods: Thirty-four patients presenting with symptomatic, refractory postoperative pelvic lymphocele or chylous ascites referred for theranostic, inguinal, intranodal L-LAG treatment between May 2018 and November 2021 were retrospectively included. There were 21 men and 13 women, with a mean age of 62.
Purpose: To retrospectively evaluate the safety, efficacy, and late clinical outcome of coronary covered stent placement for the treatment of late-onset arterial complications after hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery.
Materials And Methods: Consecutive patients presenting with post-hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery-related arterial lesions and subsequently treated with a covered coronary stent in the authors institution between January 2012 and November 2021 were included. Primary endpoints were technical and clinical success; secondary endpoints were covered stent patency and end-organ perfusion of the affected artery.
Spontaneous portosystemic shunts (SPSS) are an often neglected cause of hepatic encephalopathy associated with cirrhosis. Nowadays, SPSS are considered as radiological biomarkers of clinically significant portal hypertension rather than the previous dogmatic perceived decompressive vessels.
