Objective: to investigate the structural and morphofunctional changes in test system of malignant (cell line A-549) human cells in a resting state exposed to X-rays in the presence of gadolinium-containing photon capture agent «Dotavist» and optical light (red spectrum) in combination with «Photolon» photosensitizer.

Methods: Passaged malignant human cell culture technology, X-ray and red light exposure, cytological and statistical methods.

Results: X-ray exposure at a dose of 10.

Objective: to investigate the structural and morphofunctional changes in test systems of malignant (cell lineA549) and normal (stem fibroblasts) human cells exposed to X-rays in the presence of gadoliniumcontaining photon capture agent «Dotavist» and optical light (red spectrum) in combination with «Fotolon» photosensitizer.

Methods: The continuous cell culture of normal human fibroblasts and malignant human cells technology, X-ray and red light exposure, cytological and statistical methods.

Results: Effects of the two binary radiation technologies, namely the photon capture impact on malignant cells(human nonsmall cell lung cancer cells i.

Objective: to investigate the structural and morpho-functional changes in test systems of malignant (A-549 cellline) and normal (fibroblasts of the 6th passage) human cells during incubation with gadolinium-containing pho-ton-capture agent «Dotavist» and photosensitizer «Fotolon».

Methods: The passaged (continuously interweaved) cell culture technique on normal human fibroblasts and malig-nant human cells; cytological, biophysical, statistical methods.

Results: The cytotoxic properties of «Dotavist» gadolinium-containing photon-capturing agent and «Photolon»photosensitizer in a wide range of concentrations (5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 μl/ml) were studied by the morpho-functional characteristics (growth kinetics, proliferative and mitotic activity, presence of atypical cells) in the invitro test systems of malignant (non-small cell lung cancer cell line A-549) and normal (6th passage fibroblasts)human cells.

Background: Neuroendocrine effects of the prenatal radiation exposure from radioactive iodine in an event of nuclear power reactor accidents are a key issue in the field of radiation medicine and radiation safety because of a dramatic radiosensitivity of the developing organism.

Objective: Review of contemporary epidemiological, clinical and experimental data on neuroendocrine effects of prenatal exposure to 131I.

Object And Methods: Search in the PubMed/MEDLINE and Google Scholar abstract databases, along with a manual search for the relevant data sources.

Objective: To study the radioprotective properties of 2-merkaptobenztyazol on proliferating cell culture test system.

Materials And Methods: cytogenetic, cytological, statistics.

Results: Analysis of cytogenetic effects of 2-merkaptobenztiazol by frequency aberrations criteria and aberrant cells damage criteria showed that upon entire investigated range of reagent concentrations the frequency of aberrations was not significantly higher than the value of this indicator in control, but there was a tendency of reduction of mitotic activity of root meristem cells.

Purpose. Choroidal neovascularization (CNV) is one of the most common complications of retinal diseases accompanied by elevated secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Intravitreal anti-VEGFs (ranibizumab, bevacizumab, pegaptanib, and aflibercept) can suppress neovascularization, decrease vascular permeability and CNV size, and, thereby, improve visual function.

Unlabelled: Under current conditions the probability of simultaneous effects of radiation and chemical factors on biological objects increases, and that's why the issue of combined influence of factore different by their nature becomes progressively important. The objective was to study the cytotoxicity of nickel ions in a test-system of cell culture and to detect the cellular reactions under a combined impact of nickel ions and ionizing radiation.

Materials And Methods: Studies were performed on inoculated cell culture line L929.
