Context: Poor medication management can lead to adverse outcomes for transplant patients, including acute rejection and graft loss. In recent years, mobile applications have been proposed as innovative tools to improve patient treatment management.
Objective: This review aimed to systematically evaluate the available research evidence on the relationship between mobile applications and treatment management in transplant patients.
Unlabelled: uses over 300 translocated effector proteins to rewire host cells during infection and create a replicative niche for intracellular growth. To date, several studies have identified effectors that indirectly and directly regulate the activity of other effectors, providing an additional layer of regulatory complexity. Among these are "metaeffectors," a special class of effectors that regulate the activity of other effectors once inside the host.

The global extent to which this results in functional differences between isoforms remains unknown. Here, we systematically compared 693 isoforms of 246 TF genes, assessing DNA binding, protein binding, transcriptional activation, subcellular localization, and condensate formation.

The discovery that infected mosquitoes can release viruses in both their saliva and excreta gave rise to low-cost methods for the detection of arboviruses during entomological surveillance. We implemented both saliva and excreta-based entomological surveillance during the emergence of Zika virus (ZIKV) in French Guiana in 2016 by trapping mosquitoes around households of symptomatic cases with confirmed ZIKV infection.

We describe the prevalence of different etiologies of acute febrile illnesses occurring among French service members and their families, excluding children, in general practice in French Guiana. From June 2017 to March 2020, patients with a fever ≥37.

Individual antibody responses can be modeled using the Wood equation and grouped according to their profile. Such modeling takes into account several important kinetic parameters, such as the day when antibody detection becomes positive [daypos], the day of the maximal response [daymax], the maximum antibody level [levelmax], and the day when antibody detection becomes negative [dayneg].

The fight against malaria is a real public health plan carried out by the Armed Forces Health Service (SSA) for the benefit of the Forces. This plan has four main components: vector control, which targets larvae and adult mosquitoes of the genus , personal vector protection, which limits human-vector contact, chemoprophylaxis, and early diagnosis and treatment of malaria.

IP distribution is difficult to assess for CL because the date of exposure to an infectious bite cannot be accurately determined in endemic areas. IP current estimates for CL range from 14 days to several months with a median around 30-60 days, as established by a few previous studies in both New and Old Worlds.

Although numerous disease-associated genes have been identified, the clinical significance of most human variants remains unknown. Despite unparalleled advances in genomics, functional assays often lack sufficient throughput, hindering efficient variant functionalization.

Methods: A 20-item questionnaire divided into five themes (sport/recreation, dietary measures, hygiene measures, recognition of the signs of graft rejection and medication management) was sent to transplant patient associations. Participants' responses (a score out of 20 points), were analysed according to demographic characteristics, transplanted organ (kidney, liver or heart), type of donor (living or deceased), participation in a therapeutic patient education (TPE) programme, management of end-stage renal disease (with or without dialysis) and the date of transplant.
During 2019-2020, a chikungunya outbreak occurred in Djibouti City, Djibouti, while dengue virus and malaria parasites were cocirculating. We used blotting paper to detect arbovirus emergence and confirm that it is a robust method for detecting and monitoring arbovirus outbreaks remotely.

Despite the remarkable experimental efforts undertaken to date to determine the structure of the human interactome, many PPIs remain unmapped. Computational approaches, especially network-based methods, can facilitate the identification of previously uncharacterized PPIs.

Since May 2022, the monkeypox virus has been spreading worldwide in a new epidemiological pattern, where cases result from person-to-person transmission, and develop clinically milder or less typical illness than during previous outbreaks in endemic areas. The newly-emerging monkeypox disease needs to be described over the long term, to improve cases definitions, to implement prompt control measures against epidemics, and to provide supportive care.

The primary objective of this study was to determine whether pharmacist-led intervention after kidney transplantation is associated with a lower graft rejection rate and intra-patient variation in tacrolimus trough concentrations (C). The study's secondary objective was to develop a questionnaire to identify patients at risk for highly variable C.

Infection and immune reactions are mediated by direct contacts between viral molecules and the host proteome, and the vast majority of these virus-host contacts (the 'contactome') have not been identified. Here, we present a systematic contactome map of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) with the human host encompassing more than 200 binary virus-host and intraviral protein-protein interactions.

Methods: A telephone survey was conducted. The biological diagnoses were transmitted by the medical antennas.
Mayaro Virus is an emerging arbovirus which can be responsible of important outbreaks in tropical regions. A retrospective study was performed in French Guiana, an ultraperipheral region of Europe in Amazonia. We identified 17 human cases between 2003 and 2019.

We investigated a COVID-19 outbreak at a fire station in Marseille, France. Confirmed cases were defined as individuals with positive SARS-CoV-2 reverse transcription (RT)-PCR and/or neutralising antibodies. All 85 firefighters at work during the outbreak period were included after questioning and sampled for RT-PCR and viral neutralisation assay.
