Pulmonary Hypertension Associated With Trastuzumab-Emtansine: An Analysis of French PH Registry and WHO Pharmacovigilance Database.

Background: Trastuzumab emtansine has been recently suspected to be associated with the development of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Research Question: Is there an association between trastuzumab, trastuzumab emtansine, or trastuzumab deruxtecan and the development of PAH?.

Study Design And Methods: Characteristics of incident PAH cases treated with trastuzumab, trastuzumab emtansine, or trastuzumab deruxtecan were analyzed from the French PH Registry, the VIGIAPATH program, concurrently with a pharmacovigilance disproportionality analysis using the World Health Organization pharmacovigilance database using a broad definition of pulmonary hypertension (PH) and a narrow definition of PAH.

Efficacy of Auricular Acupuncture in Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy: A Case Series of 73 Cases.

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) can adversely affect completion of systemic anticancer treatment and cause long-term morbidity. To date, its physiopathology remains unclear, and treatments are rare and poorly performed. Auricular acupuncture has already offered interesting results in several symptoms.

Prognostic value of chemotherapy-induced hematological toxicity in metastatic colorectal cancer patients.

Aim: To establish whether chemotherapy-induced neutropenia is predictive of better outcome in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).

Methods: Survival and patient characteristics from consecutive mCRC patients treated in the Centre Georges Francois Leclerc, Dijon, France between January 2001 and December 2011 were analyzed. Patient and tumor characteristics, hematological toxicity (neutropenia, anemia, and thrombocytopenia), and type of chemotherapy received were recorded.

Feasibility and safety of weekly sequential epirubicin-paclitaxel as adjuvant treatment for operable breast cancer patients older than 70 years.

Background: There are currently no internationally agreed recommendations for the management of adjuvant chemotherapy in women aged >70 years with high-risk breast cancer. The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility and the tolerance of adjuvant weekly sequential epirubicin-paclitaxel combination in this setting.

Patients And Methods: From 2005 to 2009, 59 women over 70 years of age with operable breast cancer and who required adjuvant chemotherapy were proposed weekly sequential epirubicin-paclitaxel chemotherapy schedule, and were prospectively registered.
