Elevated SCD1 expression has been associated with enhanced cancer cell survival, proliferation, and resistance to therapy in many cancer types including gliomas. Hereby, we investigate the impact of MF-438 on SCD1-mediated lipid metabolism and its consequences on glioma growth and survival. Our data reveals an IDH -specific inhibitory effect of MF438 on gliomas.
