Objective: The purpose of this scoping review is to identify the main theoretical frameworks being used to explain dual-task performance deficits in people with post-stroke aphasia, to identify the domains of function being measured and the assessments being used, to highlight current interventions to improve dual-task performance, and to identify the gaps in the current body of literature on dual tasking and aphasia.

Introduction: Post-stroke aphasia can lead to challenges across all activities of daily living. However, little is known about how a stroke and co-occurring language impairment may affect the allocation of cognitive resources, particularly in dual-task conditions.
