- A total of 40 pairs of cadaver femurs from older individuals were used to gather data on geometric and densitometric parameters, which were then analyzed through various statistical methods to assess predictive capabilities.
- Results showed that DXA provided the strongest correlation with mechanical failure load, particularly with total and trochanteric bone mineral density, while radiography and quantitative CT also showed significant predictive values.
