Counting and certifying election results in the United States can take days and even weeks following election day. These delays are often linked to distrust in elections but does delay distrust? What can election officials do to counteract distrust if counting most ballots and announcing results cannot occur on election night? Using a preregistered survey experiment of nearly 10,000 Americans, this article shows that informing voters about longer-than-expected vote counting time induces a large, significant decrease in trust in the election. However, viewing a "prebunking" video in advance of being informed of the delay in results more than makes up for the delay-induced decrease in election trust.

This condition often presents as a painful breast mass, and many patients undergo invasive diagnostic procedures or surgical excision, which can lead to disfiguring scars. Early recognition and prompt treatment with immunosuppressive medications can prevent invasive workups and management.

A new mapping method based on targeting deceleration zones (DZs) has become one of the most commonly used strategies for VT ablation procedures. The aim of the study was to analyse the capability of CMR to identify DZs and to find predictors of arrhythmogenicity in CMR channels.

Left bundle branch pacing has emerged as an alternative to biventricular pacing. However, a systematic stepwise criterion to ensure electrical resynchronization is lacking.

The aim of the study is to compare the echocardiographic response and clinical improvement between HPCSP and BiVCRT.
Methods: Consecutive patients who successfully received HPCSP were compared with a historical cohort of BiVCRT patients.
Veratridine (VTD) is a plant neurotoxin that acts by blocking the voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSC) of cell membranes. Symptoms of VTD intoxication include intense nausea, hypotension, arrhythmia, and loss of consciousness. The treatment for the intoxication is mainly focused on treating the symptoms, meaning there is no specific antidote against VTD.

Each gold electrode of an array was functionalised with a short single stranded thiolated DNA probe, specifically designed to extend with the POM-ddNTP at the SNP site to be interrogated. The system was applied to the simultaneous detection of 4 SNPs within a single stranded 103-mer model target generated using asymmetric PCR, highlighting the potential of POM-ddNTPs for targeted, multiplexed SNP detection.

This diagnosis should always come to mind in patients that present with signs of myositis, dermatomyositis, or polymyositis associated with interstitial lung disease. On the following paper, we report the case of a 52-year-old man who presented with a 2-month history of asymmetric polyarthralgia, myalgia, weight loss of 8 kg, and progressive muscle weakness associated with dyspnea, orthopnea, and dysphonia.

Information regarding gene expression within this important period is relevant for understanding the main biochemical processes required for successful germination, particularly in maize, one of the most important cereals in the world. The present research focuses on the global microarray analysis of differential gene expression between quiescent and germinated maize embryo stages.
