Objectives: Total pancreatectomy with islet autotransplantation (TPIAT) is performed to improve the quality of life (QOL) of patients with chronic pancreatitis. Few reports have documented QOL following TPIAT, with none using the pancreatitis-specific Pancreatitis Quality of Life Instrument (PANQOLI).
