Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), a crucial plant hormone, regulates diverse physiological processes. This study aimed to isolate and characterize IAA-producing bacteria from the chickpea ( L.) rhizosphere and evaluate their effects on plant growth.

Adenovirus E4, E2a, and VA RNA genes are sufficient to support efficient AAV replication. In an effort to ensure that all transfected DNA has a functional role in AAV production, deletions were introduced to the E4 and E2a genes to determine if any portions were dispensable.

Fruits are lauded for their health benefits, forming a key part of a balanced diet. Regrettably, the continued use of calcium carbide (CaC) to ripen fruit persists in various regions due to its low cost and perceived effectiveness.

While there are different opinions about the impact of intermediate and empty capsids on safety and efficacy of AAV products, they are generally considered impurities because they are not the intended fully intact vector product. The presence of these impurities could impact product efficacy due to potential competition with fully packaged AAVs for cellular transduction, as well as have potential implications to patient safety due to increased capsid load during dosing.

The larval host range of western corn rootworm, Diabrotica virgifera virgifera (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), is restricted to maize and a few grasses. Resistance of D.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFDiabrocite corn rootworms are one of the most economically significant pests of maize in the United States and Europe and an emerging model for insect-plant interactions. Genome sizes of several species in the genus Diabrotica were estimated using flow cytometry along with that of Acalymma vittatum as an outgroup. Genome sizes ranged between 1.

Hydrogen sulphide (H S) has emerged as a gasotransmitter molecule that modulates several physiological functions in plants, specially, different biotic and abiotic stresses. Pointed gourd (PG) fruits start losing their soft texture and appealing colour within 2-3 days of harvest, resulting in poor marketability and shelf life. Here, the effect of exogenous H S (1 and 2 mm) application on lignification and other biochemical markers linked to ripening, shelf-life and edible quality of PG was assessed during cold (12 °C, 85-90% RH) and ambient (27 ± 2 °C, 55 ± 5% RH) storage.

As a climacteric fruit, banana undergoes oxidative stresses shortly after harvest, resulting in faster ripening and senescence. This work examines the effects of vacuum infiltrated H S on ripening inhibition of banana.

Methods: We conducted an open-label, randomized, controlled trial to assess the duration of the boost in intestinal immunity following a dose of IPV given to OPV-immunized children.
Background: Non vital bleaching is simple, conservative procedure for esthetic correction of discolored endodontically treated teeth. The aim of this study was to determine and compare the amount of peroxide leakage from four different bleaching agents i.e superoxol, sodium perborate, combination of superoxol & sodium perborate and carbamide peroxide during intracoronal bleaching, as the safe and effective bleaching is the need of the hour.

Materials And Methods: SIXTY SAMPLES WERE DIVIDED INTO SIX GROUPS: groups 1, 2, 3, posts cemented with GIC; groups 4, 5, 6, posts cemented with resin; groups 1 and 4 (controls), no ultrasound; groups 2 and 5, ultrasound without water spray; and groups 3 and 6, ultrasound with water spray. Instron testing machine was used to dislodge the posts from the root canals and the data was statistically analyzed.

The aim of this study was to compare in vitro the debridement ability of Canal Master and K-Files using scanning electron microscope. One hundred and twelve freshly extracted human upper central incisor teeth were divided into two groups of 56 each. One group was instrumented using Canal Master and another group was instrumented using K-Files.
