Introduction: Knee pain increases the risk of developing chronic widespread pain (CWP) and knee osteoarthritis (KOA). The prevalence of CWP and KOA has increased, and there is a need for early prevention. Therefore, the aim was to examine the associations of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and lifestyle habits with chronic pain at a two-year follow-up in individuals with knee pain.

Therefore, healthcare professionals in rheumatology care are urged to discuss lifestyle habits with all patients. The aim of this study was to explore patients' perceptions of lifestyle discussions in early rheumatology care.

More knowledge is needed about health promoting resources and lifestyle factors that may be of value for students in higher education and their future work-life balance. The aim of this study was to explore health-promoting resources, general health and wellbeing, and health promoting lifestyle factors among fourth and final semester students in higher education in healthcare and social work.

Thus, we aimed to evaluate the adjusted distribution, reported as odds ratios, of known risk factors (i.e.

We aimed to investigate whether there are differences in health status between those who return to work and those who do not, and how demographic characteristics and illness severity impact patients' ability to return to work 12 months after intensive care for COVID-19.
Research Methodology: This was a prospective longitudinal cohort study.
Implementation of artificial intelligence systems for healthcare is challenging. Understanding the barriers and implementation strategies can impact their adoption and allows for better anticipation and planning. This study's objective was to create a detailed inventory of barriers to and strategies for AI implementation in healthcare to support advancements in methods and implementation processes in healthcare.

Dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) is a X-ray-based method used to study regional distribution of gas and blood within the lung. We hypothesized that 1) regional gas/blood mismatch can be quantified by DECT; 2) obesity influences the global and regional distribution of pulmonary gas and blood; 3) regardless of ventilation modality (invasive vs.

The goal of rheumatology care is to achieve optimal health and personalised care and therefore, it is essential to understand what health means for patients in the early course of RA. The aim of this study was to describe the understanding of health among patients with early RA.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFPolycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder in women that is associated with an increased risk of anxiety and depression and with a lower health-related quality of life (HRQoL). PCOS is closely associated with obesity, which per se can lead to symptoms of anxiety and depression and lower HRQoL. The first-line treatment for PCOS is weight loss through lifestyle intervention, which has been shown to improve all symptoms of the syndrome.

Methods: A total of 84 children with ADHD (51 boys and 33 girls; 6-12 years) and parents (7 men and 77 women; 28-51 years) were included in the study. CSHQ was translated and culturally adapted to Swedish, and assessed for concurrent validity with sleep actigraphy (analyzed by Kendall's Tau) and for reliability by internal consistency (analyzed by McDonald's Omega H).

This study aimed to assess eating behavior and lifestyle factors in women with severe obesity (BMI ≥35 kg/m), with and without PCOS, and the effect of weight loss on these behaviors.
Material And Methods: A prospective clinical trial with participants screened for PCOS using National Institutes of Health criteria.
Introduction: The primary aim of the present study was to assess interindividual and intraindividual variations in haemoglobin and ferritin concentrations in Swedish recruits over 5 months of basic combat training (BCT). The secondary aim was to find predictors for missing training (a precursor for attrition) and overuse injuries during BCT.
Methods: In a cohort design, a total of 58 female and 104 male recruits provided complete data.
Study Objectives: To examine differences in sample characteristics and longitudinal sleep outcomes according to weighted blanket (WB) adherence.
Methods: Children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (n = 94), mean age 9.0 (standard deviation 2.
Objective: The aim was to explore whether occupational balance is associated with health, health-promoting resources, healthy lifestyle and social study factors among students during higher education within healthcare and social work.
Design: The study has a multicentre repeated cross-sectional design. Data were collected via a self-reported, web-based questionnaire based on the validated instruments: the 11-item Occupational Balance Questionnaire (OBQ11), the Sense of Coherence (SOC) Scale, the Salutogenic Health Indicator Scale (SHIS) and five questions from the General Nordic Questionnaire (QPS Nordic) together with questions about general health and lifestyle factors.
Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has put an exceptional strain on intensive care delivery and has significantly impacted nursing practice in the intensive care unit, consequently affecting nurses' working environment and health. Little is known about the long-term impact on the nursing workforce and care delivery in intensive care and anaesthetic departments.
Aim/objective: This cross-sectional study aimed to describe the long-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nursing profession and nursing care from the perspectives of anaesthetic and critical care nurses.
Objective: In this post hoc analysis of a previously published study, we compared cytokines and adipokine levels in women and men with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) at baseline (BL) and 6 months (M6) following a weight loss intervention.
Methods: Patients with PsA (n=41) between 25 and 75 years of age, with body mass index (BMI)≥33 kg/m were included in a weight loss intervention with a very low energy diet (VLED) for 12 or 16 weeks depending on BL BMI<40 or ≥40 kg/m. As controls (n=39), obese individuals, already planned for VLED treatment were recruited and matched for sex, age and weight to the patients with PsA.
Objectives: Depression is increasing and is a leading cause of disease burden among adolescents. Available evidence-based treatments with medication or psychotherapy have modest effects. Aerobic exercise is a hopeful alternative as an augmenter or a stand-alone treatment.

Here, we aimed to clarify the impact of moderate diet variations that remain within the spectrum of the habitual human diet on gut microbiota composition.
Methods: We performed a pilot diet intervention where five healthy volunteers consumed a vegetarian ready-made meal for three days to standardize dietary intake before switching to a meat-based ready-made western-style meal and high sugar drink for two days.
