Cardiac magnetic resonance: is phonocardiogram gating reliable in velocity-encoded phase contrast imaging?

Objectives: To assess the diagnostic accuracy of phonocardiogram (PCG) gated velocity-encoded phase contrast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
