The effects of taping in the management of primary dysmenorrhoea: A systematic review with meta-analysis.

In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we explored the efficacy of taping as a non-pharmacological intervention for pain reduction in primary dysmenorrhoea (PD), a prevalent condition causing significant quality of life impairment. We conducted a comprehensive search across databases including PubMed, PEDro, and Web of Science to identify randomized controlled trials assessing taping's effectiveness in PD for pain relief. Our criteria focused on studies comparing taping to no intervention or alternatives, with pain outcomes primarily measured using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).
