Background: Chronic kidney disease-associated pruritus (CKD-aP) mainly occurs in hemodialysis (HD) patients and could persist in kidney transplant (KT) recipients. This study aims to compare the severity, correlation of various biochemical factors, and quality of life (QoL) concerning pruritus in CKD.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on HD and KT recipients with chronic pruritus, where the 5-Dimensional (5-D) Itch Scale and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) were used to evaluate pruritus severity and QoL.
Introduction: Seborrheic keratoses (SK) are benign epidermal tumors with high sun exposure as a major risk factor. Vitamin D deficiency is also thought to play a role in its pathogenesis. There has been no data regarding SK, calcidiol level, vitamin D intake, and sun index (SI) among people living in coastal areas in Indonesia.
