Reinnervation techniques such as nerve allografting have been utilized to retain sensation. Despite the benefits of nerve allografts, such as lack of donor site morbidity, ease of use, and potentially shorter surgery time, there are shortcomings, such as the cost of commercially available acellular nerve allografts, and, most importantly, decreased sensory and motor function recovery for acellular nerve allografts with a diameter greater than 3 mm or a length greater than 50 mm.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study design was used.
Background: Inherited mutations in the CDKN2A gene are among the strongest known risk factors for cutaneous melanoma. Further, previous studies have reported inferior melanoma-specific survival in CDKN2A mutation carriers.
Objectives: Here, the melanoma-specific survival was studied, depending on CDKN2A carrier status and if the melanomas had been diagnosed before or after families were included in a surveillance program.
Mohs micrographic surgery is the preferred surgical option for high-risk basal cell carcinomas. In our institution, the method is exclusively used for the treatment of aggressive and recurrent facial tumours selected via multidisciplinary team meetings and consistently managed using a multidisciplinary approach. Methods: Joinpoint regression models were used to analyse data from the Swedish Cancer Register and the Swedish Melanoma Registry 1997-2018 ( = 35,350 in situ CM; 59,932 CM).
Background: Cure proportion represents the proportion of patients who experience the same mortality rate as the general population and can be estimated together with the survival of the proportion experiencing excess mortality (the uncured). The aim was to estimate the cure proportions and survival among uncured stage II-III cutaneous melanoma (CM) patients.
Methods: 1- and 5-year relative survival ratios, cure proportions and the median survival times of uncured stage II-III CM patients in Sweden ( = 6466) were calculated based on data from the nationwide population-based Swedish Melanoma Register 2005-2013 with a follow-up through 2018.
