During thermal charging, the coexistence and dynamic competition between thermal-induced voltage rise and self-discharge lead to the limitations of the thermocapacitive cycle. Therefore, the operational conditions in the charge-heat-discharge steps seriously restrict the thermal charging performance.

Cryo-EM studies highlight the importance of asymmetrical Rco1-Eaf3 dimers in nucleosome binding, yet the interaction dynamics with nucleosomal substrates alongside elongating Pol II are poorly understood. Here we demonstrate the essential function of the Rco1 N-terminal intrinsically disordered region (IDR) in modulating Pol II association, in which K/R mutations within the Rco1 IDR impair interaction of Rpd3S with the C-terminal domain (CTD) of Rpb1, without affecting nucleosome recognition or complex integrity.

Methods: Total proteome and nine PTMs (phosphorylation, acetylation, crotonylation, ubiquitination, lactylation, N-glycosylation, succinylation, malonylation, and β-hydroxybutyrylation) in tumor sections and paired normal adjacent tissues derived from 18 HCC patients were systematically profiled by 4D-Label free proteomics analysis combined with PTM-based peptide enrichment.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: While the pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block has become increasingly popular for managing pain after hip surgery, its efficacy remains controversial.
Methods: We systematically searched Pubmed, Web of Science, Embase, and the Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials to assess current evidence about the efficacy of the PENG block. Patients who received PENG block were compared to those who received sham/no block in terms of opioid consumption and pain within 24h after surgery, time to first opioid requirement, functional recovery, risk of nausea and vomiting, and patient dissatisfaction.
Background: The oxidative stress and neuroinflammation are important factors in acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Our former study showed the 1,2,4- triazole derivative (SYS18) had obviously neuroprotection by anti- oxidative stress on rat middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model.
Aim: In this study, we continue to investigate its neuroprotection by anti-inflammatory effects and protecting BBB integrity in AIS.
Biomedical network learning offers fresh prospects for expediting drug repositioning. However, traditional network architectures struggle to quantify the relationship between micro-scale drug spatial structures and corresponding macro-scale biomedical networks, limiting their ability to capture key pharmacological properties and complex biomedical information crucial for drug screening and therapeutic discovery. Moreover, challenges such as difficulty in capturing long-range dependencies hinder current network-based approaches.
