Lupus nephritis (LN) or renal involvement of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), is a common manifestation occurring in at least 50 % of SLE patients. LN remains a significant source of morbidity, often leading to progressive renal dysfunction and is a major cause of death in SLE. Despite these challenges, advances in the understanding of the pathogenesis and genetic underpinnings of LN have led to a commendable expansion in available treatments over the past decade.

The property and application performance are determined by the electronic structure, which can be described based on the density of states (DOS). The conventional density functional theory (DFT) calculation is able to provide the DOS spectrum of a specific atomic structure.

Endodontic microsurgery (EMS) is an alternative treatment option for previously treated teeth with persistent periapical disease, offering a favorable prognosis. However, it can be particularly challenging in anatomically complex cases, risking unintentional damage to adjacent critical structures. Dynamic navigation (DN), a computer-aided technique, facilitates precise presurgical planning and provides real-time guidance during operation.

The FPBHs possess a wide range of biological activities and can be utilized in the treatment of various clinical diseases. However, the majority of research efforts have predominantly focused on nonspecific polysaccharides derived from various sources (most plants, animals, and microorganisms), whereas the exploration of hydrogels originating from specific polysaccharides with distinct bioactivity extracted from natural food sources remains limited.

We aimed to review the literature to comprehensively investigate the individual and comparative clinical outcomes of various ICI-based treatment strategies in this population.
Methods: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we used single-arm, pairwise, and network meta-analytical approaches.
Tumor-draining lymph nodes (TDLNs) are usually the first station of tumor metastasis in lung cancer. TDLNs+ have distinct pathomorphologic and tumor microenvironment (TME)-compositional patterns, which still need to be thoroughly investigated in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). Here, we enrolled 312 LUAD patients with TDLNs+ from our institution between 2015 and 2019.

The 5'-end of the PAT aptamer was modified with a cyanine 3 (Cy3) fluorophore, which self-assembled on WS nanosheets. The interaction between the Cy3 fluorophore at the 5'-end of the PAT aptamer and the WS nanosheets resulted in reduced fluorescence (FL) intensity due to fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET).

It is interesting to explore the genetic features of different histologic subtypes, especially the highly aggressive components. Based on a cohort of 5,933 patients, this study observed that in different tumor size groups, LUAD with MIP/SOL components showed a different prevalence, and patients with ALK alteration or TP53 mutations had a higher probability of developing MIP/SOL components.

The microcapsules were characterised by yield, encapsulation efficiency (EE), particle size, sensory evaluation, morphology, attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy and digestion studies. The encapsulation improved the physicochemical properties and bioactivity stability of sweet tea extract (STE).

But there has been no report on the parallel triplex formation of homopurine involving both adenosine and guanosine to the duplex. In this paper, we first report parallel triplex formation between a homopurine serinol nucleic acid (SNA) strand and an RNA/SNA duplex.

Main Methods: The male C57BL/6 mice were fed with high fat food (HFD) or normal diet (CON) respectively, and the obese mice were randomly divided into sedentariness (HFD) and exercise groups (HFD + Exe). The total intervention period was 18 weeks.
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is a rare but potentially devastating complication in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) recipients. Myelosuppression-related antibiotics should be used cautiously in patients with hematological malignancies, especially those undergoing bone marrow transplantation and receiving bone marrow suppression therapy. Although linezolid has become the recommended drug for severe TB, its hematological toxicity is still an obstacle to its clinical application.

The prepared carbon materials show a three-dimensional hierarchical structure with a large specific surface area and a highly developed porous structure. Aptamers loading significantly improves when gold nanoparticles are embedded into the hierarchical porous carbon skeleton.

The crude polysaccharides of Dendrobium Chrysotoxum Lindl (DCP) were extracted by hot water extraction, and the protein was removed by enzymatic hydrolysis and Sevage. After purification, the chemical structure of polysaccharides was identified by infrared spectroscopy, methylation analysis and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Background: Tertiary lymphoid structure (TLS) is an organized infiltration of immune cells, showing features of germinal center (GC) commonly seen in secondary lymphoid organs.
