Diptera and Lepidoptera species have the highest levels of insecticide resistance, and the mechanism of drug resistance has been studied in detoxification metabolism genes such as P450, GST, EST, and ABC. Since are resistant to a variety of chemicals, the pattern and mechanism of resistance in have been investigated from a variety of aspects such as detoxification metabolism genes, detoxification enzymes, intestinal symbiotic bacteria, and synergists in the world. In this study, 51 species and 149 detoxification metabolism genes were annotated in the Suppression Subtractive Hybridization (SSH) library, and 12 candidate genes related to beta-cypermethrin resistance were screened and quantitatively expressed in this library.

Prepulse inhibition (PPI) is a sensorimotor gating process that reduces the startling response when a weaker sensory stimulus precedes a sudden startling stimulus. Perceptual spatial separation (PSS) between the prepulse and the background noise was found to enhance PPI compared to perceptual spatial co-location (PSC). However, little is known about the perceptual characteristics of prepulses in the PSS that induce more inhibition of the startling response and the associated neural mechanism.

Reproduction is an important life process in insects; however, few studies have attempted to demonstrate the association between reproductive activity and energy metabolism. To address this problem, we focused on the reproductive changes in Bactrocera dorsalis males. We analyzed B.
