The phenomenon of chemsex, or the use of psychoactive substances in a sexual context, is increasing in communities of men who have sex with men (MSM), and carry along significant risks and consequences. No specific treatment approach has yet been established, but risk and harm reduction strategies are at the forefront. Multi-disciplinary treatment, care and support need to be based on a non-judgmental attitude, offered by trained professionals who take into account the cultural specificities of users.

Mystical experiences triggered by psychedelic drugs predict symptom reduction in various psychiatric disorders, and increased well-being in healthy individuals. This work aimed at validating a French version of a tool used to measure mystical experiences: the Revised Mystical Experience Questionnaire-30 items (MEQ30). Construct validity, internal consistencies, concurrent, discriminant, and predictive validities of the French MEQ30 were examined using data about the most significant psychedelic experience of 320 French individuals.
