The genus have long been recognized as a source of structural novel, pharmaceutically relevant natural products. We reviewed the structures and activities of secondary metabolites isolated from the genus of from January 1995 to June 2024, and 280 compounds, including six major categories-terpenoids, alkaloids, polyketides, polyphenols, steroids, and other classes-are presented in this review. Among these metabolites, 196 were identified as new structures.

Methods: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and alcoholic fatty liver disease (ALD) models were established in zebrafish larvae at 3 days post fertilization (dpf), in which the treatment efficacy of 16, 32, or 64 μg/mL ECGFG was evaluated by examining zebrafish survival and liver pathologies and using whole-fish oil red O staining and RT-qPCR. The therapeutic mechanism of ECGFG for FLD was investigated using Prussian blue staining, DCFH-DA probe, MDA content detection, RT-qPCR assay and immunohistochemical staining for CAV1.

Domestic waste treatment is an important source of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, and it is of great significance to clarify the carbon emission intensity of each link before and after waste classification treatment to help with the "double carbon" goal. Based on the relevant data on domestic waste generation in Baoji City in 2021, combined with the integrated urban and rural domestic waste disposal model, the carbon emission intensity of urban and rural domestic waste treatment before and after classification was calculated using the IPCC inventory guide carbon emission factor method. The results showed that by reducing the proportion of simple landfills in rural areas, the carbon reduction could reach 59 451.

Applying cellulose paper on the triboelectric material is the trend of developing eco-friendly triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG). However, the researchers always pay attention to improve the triboelectric property of cellulose paper by the grafting of functional groups and the introduction of conductive or high dielectric property materials, while neglecting the effects of lignocellulose fiber composition including hemicellulose and lignin. In this work, the contents of hemicellulose and lignin were adjusted by sodium hydroxide and sodium chlorite, respectively; and the effects of hemicellulose and lignin on the triboelectric performance of cellulose paper were evaluated.

It can provide continuous flow and form shear stress (SS) upon endothelial cells (ECs), thereby regulating EC injury. Krüppel-like factor 10 (KLF10) has been shown to lessen vascular damage.

Methods: The TCMSP, ETCM, and SymMap databases provided the effective chemical components and targets of CXBP, while the databases OMIM, GeneCards, TTD, Pubmed, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP Database provided targets relevant to ischemic stroke. In addition we conducted animal experiments for validation.
An efficient visible-light-induced radical carbon oximation of styrenes with 1-nitrosopyrrolidine and organic halides is developed. The reaction proceeds smoothly in the absence of a transition metal and a photocatalyst under mild conditions, producing a wide range of functionalized oximes in moderate to good yields. Mechanistic studies reveal that the reaction involves the generation of nucleophilic α-amino alkyl radicals and subsequent halogen atom transfer (XAT) with organic halides.

The patients with alcoholic liver disease diagnosed in the Gastroenterology Department of the People's Hospital of Hechi from November 2021 to June 2022, including 52 cases of alcoholic liver disease with positive risky drinking behaviors, 103 cases of non-alcoholic liver disease with positive risky drinking behaviors of the same gender and age, and 105 healthy subjects with no risky drinking behaviors as control groups were retrospectively analyzed. The serum total protein and albumin are detected by immunoturbidimetry and globulin is calculated by the difference method; the serum total bilirubin and direct bilirubin are detected by the nitrite oxidation method and indirect bilirubin is calculated by the difference method; alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and γ-glutamyl transferase are detected by the substrate method.

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of indobufen-based DAPT in patients with MVD.
Methods: Patients in the OPTION trial were stratified based on the presence of MVD.

Trihelix transcription factors play important roles in plant light responses, growth and development, and stress responses. However, Trihelix has not yet been reported in Eucommia ulmoides. In this study, bioinformatics methods were used to comprehensively identify and analyze the expression patterns of the Trihelix gene family in E.

However, there is still a lack of research on the relationship between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and various indicators related to the CA. This study aimed to investigate the clinical significance of using QIMT and QAS techniques for comprehensive evaluation of CA intima-media thickness (IMT) and elasticity changes in NAFLD patients, and to analyze various factors influencing these variables.

Here we aimed to identify salivary proteins as potential biomarkers and to establish a non-invasive prediction model for pSjD.
Methods: Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was conducted on whole saliva samples from patients with pSjD and non-Sjögren control subjects (non-pSjD).
The coastal wetland of the Yellow River Estuary, one of China's largest wetlands, is essential for biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services. Ecological water replenishment, a typical wetland restoration measure in the Yellow River Delta, has significantly impacted the habitat of zoobenthos, which are critical indicators of ecosystem health and water quality. However, the community characteristics of zoobenthos in this coastal wetland are poorly understood.

Methods: An all-encompassing search across (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and CINAHL) was done, to identify studies, published until August 2023, that report data on sarcopenia and mortality in BC patients. A meta-analysis was then done using a random-effects model.
The aromatic boron cluster B () has similar π bonding to CH, which is named "borozene". The B ligand has been observed to stabilize monovalent Ln(+I) in -LnB (Ln = La, Pr, Tb, Tm, and Yb) borozene complexes. Low-valency actinide complexes have been reported more rarely, and B may be one of the potential ligands.

Although the amidoxime group (HAO) is the commonly used ligand in seawater uranium extraction, it also has strong binding capacity for vanadium ion. It has been shown that the introduction of phosphate groups into amidoxime-based adsorbents can improve the adsorption performance of materials through a synergistic effect between functional groups.

In this work, we present a simple method for developing a new type of 9,9'-spirobifluorene-based CP-MR emitters by a recrystallization resolution technology and chlorine (Cl)-directed electrophilic borylation reaction, both of which significantly enhance the efficiency and scalability for mass production. This approach allows for integrating an asymmetric 9,9'-spirobifluorene core between two MR frameworks to achieve optically active CP-MR emitters.

Therefore, the development of multivalent vaccines against HAdV types 3, 7, 14, and 55 remains an important goal. In our previous study, we identified a cross-neutralizing epitope that induced broadly reactive monoclonal neutralizing antibodies against the knob proteins of HAdV types 7, 11, 14, and 55.
