Metastatic uveal melanoma is a rare disease with a poor prognosis. Usual treatments have not proven effective. Tebentafusp, a bispecific protein targeting melanoma cells and T lymphocytes, is the first approved treatment with a proven survival benefit in a randomized clinical.

Experimental Design: We conducted an international retrospective cohort study of patients with TRK fusion-driven CNS tumors.
Background: Dorsomedian nasopharyngeal masses with benign macroscopic appearance are frequently observed during retrograde nasopharyngoscopy, particularly in brachycephalic breeds, but are not well described.
Hypothesis/objectives: To characterize these masses, assess their frequency, and identify the potential factors associated with their presence.
Animals: Dogs that underwent retrograde nasopharyngoscopy at a private hospital.
Spring viremia of carp virus (SVCV) has a broad fish host spectrum and is responsible for a disease that generally affects juvenile fishes with a mortality rate of up to 90%. In the absence of treatments or vaccines against SVCV, the search for prophylactic or therapeutic solutions is thus relevant, particularly to identify solutions compatible with mass vaccination. In addition to being a threat to aquaculture and ecosystems, SVCV is a unique pathogen to study virus-host interactions in the zebrafish model.

We aimed to investigate the efficiency of CNS targets and tolerance of second-line combined anti-PD1/dual-targeted anti-BRAF/anti-MEK therapy implemented in patients with CNS progression after initially efficient first-line combined targeted therapy in patients with BRAF-mutated melanoma in a real-life setting. A monocentric retrospective analysis including all such patients treated from January 2017 to January 2022 was conducted in our tertiary referral center.

The objective of this case series is to describe the presence, clinical manifestations, endoscopic findings and outcomes of foreign bodies in the palatine tonsillar fossa of dogs.
Materials And Methods: Medical records of dogs in which tonsillar fossa foreign bodies were removed by endoscopy between 2020 and 2023 at a referral centre were reviewed.

We report the case of a 63-year-old patient with recurrence of acral malignant melanoma after adjuvant immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) treatment by PEMBROLIZUMAB complicated with immune-related grade II hepatitis. Rechallenge by combination immune checkpoint (NIVOLUMAB + IPILIMUMAB) led to a relapse of the immune-related hepatitis up to a grade 3. Combination ICI therapy was carried on after introduction of corticosteroid therapy.

Methods: To assess the impact of a formal teaching session on the diagnostic rates and management of pediatric delirium (PD) in a tertiary care center, we conducted a retrospective chart review of all hospitalized children diagnosed with PD between August 2003 and August 2018 at the CHU Sainte-Justine (Montreal, Canada).
The outbreaks of viral hemorrhagic septicemia (VHS) and viral encephalopathy and retinopathy (VER) caused by the enveloped novirhabdovirus VHSV, and the non-enveloped betanodavirus nervous necrosis virus (NNV), respectively, represent two of the main viral infectious threats for aquaculture worldwide. Non-segmented negative-strand RNA viruses such as VHSV are subject to a transcription gradient dictated by the order of the genes in their genomes. With the goal of developing a bivalent vaccine against VHSV and NNV infection, the genome of VHSV has been engineered to modify the gene order and to introduce an expression cassette encoding the major protective antigen domain of NNV capsid protein.

Iatrogenic hypoadrenocorticism is thought to be rare, with most cases being transient and only a few cases of permanent hypoadrenocorticism have been reported. This study reports findings from eight cases of iatrogenic hypoadrenocorticism and examines the presence of concurrent diseases at the time of diagnosis.

We sought to perform a systematic review and individual participant data meta-analysis to identify independent predictors of seizure outcome and complications following MRgLITT for DRE. Eleven databases were searched from January 1, 2010 to February 6, 2021 using the terms "MR-guided ablation therapy" and "epilepsy".

Unlike other alphaviruses, such as the chikungunya virus, SAV is transmitted without an arthropod vector, and it does not cause cell shutoff during infection. The mechanisms by which SAV escapes the host immune system remain unknown.

Their synthesis is tightly regulated to prevent excessive immune responses and possible deleterious effects on the host organism itself. The RIG-I-like receptor signaling cascade is one of the major pathways leading to the production of interferons.

However, none of the current applications allow researchers to select genome features to display or highlight in blocks of synteny based on the annotated biological properties of the features (e.g.

The purpose of this study was to develop and investigate the validity of a semi-quantitative Mg food frequency questionnaire (MgFFQ) against a 14-day food diary to assess average daily Mg intakes. In this cross-sectional study, 135 adults aged 18 to 75 completed the 33-item MgFFQ and a 14-day food diary to assess their Mg intakes.

Objectives: To document the PUC frequency in a cohort of dogs with CKD, determine risk factors for PUC, and identify associations between clinicopathologic data and PUC.
Animals: Two hundred one client-owned dogs with CKD.
