Background: Infective endocarditis is a rare condition in childhood, and there is limited data on this disease in Tunisia.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the epidemiological profile, bacteriological data, and prognosis of infective endocarditis in children admitted to the pediatric department of a University Hospital in Tunisia.

Methods: We conducted a comparative cross-sectional study in the pediatric department of Sahloul Teaching Hospital in Sousse, a tertiary referral hospital in Tunisia.

An Uncommon Cause of Peritonitis In Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis: A Case Report and Review of Literature.

Peritonitis is a major complication of peritoneal dialysis (PD) and due to its gravity, it remains the primary reason to switch from PD to hemodialysis. Elizabethkingia meningoseptica, a non-fermentative Gram-negative bacillus, is rarely encountered as a pathogen causing peritonitis in adults. We present here a case report of an acquired infection with this organism in adult on PD.

Staphylococcus aureus Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia: A Study of Bacterio-Epidemiological Profile and Virulence Factors.
