Introduction: Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy. This rare condition is a benign disease of unknown etiology. Bilateral orbital localization of RDD is rare.

Presurgical embolization of nasopharyngeal fibroma: A case report.

Nasopharyngeal fibroma (NF) is a rare nasopharyngeal tumor of a benign histological nature but with local aggressiveness. It is a hypervascular tumor and the main feeding artery comes from the internal maxillary artery. Surgery is the treatment of choice for this tumor but carries a significant risk of bleeding from surgical treatment.

[Cochlear implantation in Senegal: challenges, limits and perspectives].

Virtual Reality to Ease Endovascular Repair of Thoracoabdominal Aneurysms Under Local Anesthesia.

Virtual reality (VR) has both a non-pharmacological analgesic and anxiolytic action that can be used as an alternative to general anesthesia for very high-risk patients. We present here the case of a patient treated for a complex endovascular thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm exclusion using a 4-fenestrated aortic endograft using VR. The patient had no postoperative complications and was safely discharged from the hospital on postoperative day 6.

[Craniofacial fibrous dysplasia: about six cases].

Fibrous dysplasia (FD) of bone is a benign, congenital and rare disease in which normal bone is replaced by fibrous bone tissue, resulting in bone deformities. It can affect any bone in the body, however craniofacial fibrous dysplasia is characterized by specific clinical manifestations, progression and therapeutic issues. The purpose of our study was to describe the diagnostic, therapeutic and evolutionary features of craniofacial FD.

[Iatrogenic common carotid artery injury secondary to an internal jugular venous catheterization].

Carotid injury occurring during venous jugular catheterization is a rare but potentially dramatic event. We report a case of compressive cervical hematoma associated with haemothorax occurred after common carotid artery injury during internal jugular venous catheterization. The diagnosis and management of this type of complication are discussed.

Introduction: Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease, or histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis, is a benign disease most commonly affecting adult females. It generally presents in the form of febrile cervical lymphadenopathy. This diagnosis must be considered in the setting of tropical medicine, dominated by a high prevalence of tuberculous lymphadenitis and haematological malignancies.
