Background: In our previous study, we demonstrated that headaches are highly prevalent among medical students in Vietnam. In the present study, we provide estimates of the associated symptom burden and impaired participation, utilizing these estimates to assess headache-related healthcare needs within this population.
Methods: The study followed the standardized methodology established by the Global Campaign against Headache.
Background: Radical cystectomy (RC) is a major surgery associated with a high morbidity rate. Perioperative fluid management according to enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols aims to maintain patients in an optimal euvolemic state while exposing them to acute kidney injury (AKI) in the event of hypovolemia. Postoperative AKI is associated with severe morbidity and mortality.

Descriptive statistics highlight the significance of vaccination status, with almost half of unvaccinated respondents contracting the infection. The second vaccine dose showed the lowest infection percentages, suggesting a potential dose-dependent effect.

Subjects And Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 918 ethnic Khmer minority people aged 40 and above in Vietnam who had never been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
Objective: To predict the 10-year risk of type 2 diabetes, the Finnish Diabetes Risk Scoring Scale, adjusted for the Asian population with modification of the waist circumpherence and Body Mass Index Cut-Offs, was used.
Mucormycosis is an emerging and deadly invasive fungal infection caused by fungi belonging to the Mucorales order. We investigated the myosin superfamily, which encompasses diverse actin-based motor proteins with various cellular functions. Specifically, the role of the Myo5B (ID 179665) protein from the myosin class V family in was explored by generating silencing phenotypes and null mutants corresponding to the gene.

Their structures were elucidated by 2D-NMR and FT-ICR-MS. All the three compounds showed moderate cytotoxicity against four cancer cells, KB (a human epidermal carcinoma), MCF7 (human breast carcinoma), SK-LU-1 (human lung carcinoma) and HepG2 (hepatocellular carcinoma).

The Automatic Methane Potential Test System contained fifteen parallel reactors and the same number of gas flow meters attached to the acquisition system. The set of reactors - gas flow meters gave reproducible results during anaerobic digestion of chemically defined carbon source and the units were used to evaluate the biomethane potential of SCB after different pretreatments, such as treatment with water, acid, acid followed by enzymatic treatment and acid followed by treatment with inactive enzymes.
