Objective: To evaluate the effects of behavioral health interventions delivered within pediatric integrated primary care models on clinical outcomes.

Methods: We searched Medline, EMBASE, CENTRAL, PsycINFO, and SCOPUS for studies published from January 1, 1998, to September 20, 2023. We included studies that evaluated onsite behavioral health integration in pediatric primary care using a comparator condition (usual, enhanced usual care, or waitlist).

A Novel Diagnostic and Treatment Approach to an Unusual Case of Dens Invaginatus in a Mandibular Lateral Incisor Using CBCT and 3D Printing Technology.

Background: This case report demonstrates the use of three-dimensional (3D) models produced from a cone beam computed tomographic (CBCT) volume to develop a treatment strategy for a rare type of dens invaginatus (DI) in a mandibular incisor.

Methods: A patient with DI Type IIIa presented for endodontic treatment. Following CBCT evaluation, the complex morphologic nature of the invagination required additional diagnostic tools for treatment planning.

Introduction: Caregiver self-efficacy in providing nutritional support to pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) patients has been little studied despite the increased risk of these children potentially being over- or under-nourished after HSCT, and nutritional status could possibly affect treatment outcomes. The current study aimed to describe caregiver dietary self-efficacy and its associated psychosocial factors and barriers to following dietary recommendations.

Methods: Caregivers completed questionnaires pre-HSCT and 30 days, 100 days, and one year post-HSCT.

Verification and Use of the US-FDA BAM 19b Method for Detection of in a Survey of Fresh Produce by CFIA Laboratory.

To facilitate the harmonized surveillance and investigation of cyclosporiasis outbreaks in the US and Canada, we adapted and verified the US-FDA's BAM 19b method and employed it in a national produce survey. Performance was verified by spiking 200, 10, 5 or 0 oocysts onto berries (50 ± 5 g, = 85) and 200, 10 or 0 oocysts onto green onions (25 ± 3 g, = 24) and leafy greens (25 ± 1 g, = 120) and testing these samples by the BAM method on Bio-Rad CFX96. Method robustness was assessed by aging (0 or 7 days) and freezing the produce and washes prior to testing, then implementing the method for the surveillance testing of 1759 imported leafy green, herb and berry samples.

Methods: We used the RE-AIM framework to describe PCP adoption and implementation of EHR documentation tools and brief evidence-based protocols. Utilization was assessed using a customized toolbar (ie, actions toolbar) via retrospective chart review.

This longitudinal study examined feasibility of "Roadmap 1.0," a modular health information application integrated with the electronic medical record, provided to 30 adolescent and young adult (AYA) inpatients 11-24 years of age undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The Association Between Burnout and Pediatrician Management of Adolescent Depression.

Given the increased demand for pediatric primary care providers to manage adolescent depression, the current study examines the association between burnout and provider comfort and perception of feasibility managing adolescent depression. Data were collected from 52 pediatricians at a Midwest academic health center. Higher scores on depersonalization were associated with lower provider-reported comfort managing adolescent depression.

One hundred and three women with 103 suspicious solid breast lesions (BI-RADS categories 4-5) were enrolled. Background: Despite the increasing use of medical records to measure quality of care, studies have shown that their validity is suboptimal. The objective of this study is to assess the concordance of cardiovascular care processes evaluated through medical record review and patient self-administered questionnaires (SAQs) using ten quality indicators (TRANSIT indicators). These indicators were developed as part of a participatory research program (TRANSIT study) dedicated to TRANSforming InTerprofessional clinical practices to improve cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention in primary care.
