Unlabelled: Synthesis of several -oxides with tungsten exchanged hydroxyapatite (W/HAP) in the presence of 30% hydrogen peroxide (HO) as an oxidant is presented. A process with aqueous HO, a cheap and clean oxidant with an active catalyst is developed to reduce waste production and meet the requirements of green chemistry. Several tertiary amines have been efficiently oxidized to their corresponding -oxides with excellent yields.

C-C and C-N bond forming reactions are important in synthetic organic chemistry as these organic transformations are very critical. Transition metal exchanged FAP provides an efficient catalytic system for N-arylation of haloarenes and Suzuki and Heck coupling of haloarenes.

The obtained samples possess a high surface area (up to 1236 m(2) g(-1)) and a large pore volume (up to 1.1 cm(3) g(-1)).
