Purpose: To describe the surgical technique of intraocular lens (IOL) scaffolding in hypermature/Morgagnian cataract in manual small-incision cataract surgery (MSICS).
Setting: Charitable section of the hospital through direct availed services at free/subsidized cost.

Objectives: With the introduction of newer molecular diagnostic tools to identify , an increasing number of nontuberculous mycobacterium (NTM) is being identified. However, the drug resistance pattern of the NTM species identified is less explored. View Article and Find Full Text PDFPulmonary disease due to Mycobacterium abscessus (Mab) has become an increasing cause of health concern, particularly among individuals infected with nontuberculous mycobacteria. Since Mab is intrinsically resistant to many antibiotics, it is very challenging to treat patients with symptomatic disease. In this case series, we report four patients with symptomatic pulmonary Mab who had prior history of antituberculosis treatment intake and declared cured at the end of treatment.
