: Ageing is associated with several cognitive, physical, and emotional changes, including a decrease in sleep quality and mental health issues. This study studies NESA (Spanish acronym for Neuromodulación Superficial Aplicada) non-invasive neuromodulation using microcurrents as something that may provide a potential improvement in the quality of sleep and general health of older adults and residents in a healthcare institution. : This observational study recruited 24 people who were residents at a long-term care facility.

This study investigates the use of a deep learning (DL)-based pipeline for the diagnosis of AIH and PBC to aid differential diagnosis.
Methods: We conducted a multicenter study across six European referral centers, and built a library of digitized liver biopsy slides dating from 1997 to 2023.
Smart textiles that integrate multiple environmental sensing capabilities are an emerging frontier in wearable technology. In this study, we developed dual pH- and temperature-responsive textiles by combining engineered bacterial systems with bacterially derived proteins. For temperature sensing, we characterized the properties of a heat sensitive promoter, P, in () using enhanced green fluorescent protein as a reporter.

The scrum is a popular agile framework widely used in project management and education. This study evaluates the opinions on agile adaptation in nursing curricula among nursing students to identify how AM can be applied in higher education to facilitate learning.

However, most thread coatings reported so far cannot be easily customized for different analytes and frequently incorporate non-biodegradable components. Most optically active thread coatings rely on dyes, which often exhibit irreversible responses.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of HPV and cytological alterations in the transgender population and contribute to the development of public policies.
Methods: A descriptive study was conducted in a transgender outpatient clinic in Vitória, Espírito Santo state, between 2018 and 2021. Data were collected through interviews and information from medical records.
Introduction: The accurate distinction between benign and malignant biliary strictures (BS) poses a significant challenge. Despite the use of bile duct biopsies and brush cytology via endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography (ERCP), the results remain suboptimal. Single-operator cholangioscopy can enhance the diagnostic yield in BS, but its limited availability and high costs are substantial barriers.

Most systematic reviews and meta-analyses of the risk of myocarditis or pericarditis have included passive surveillance data, which is subject to reporting errors. Accurate measures of age-, sex-, vaccine dose-, and vaccine type-specific risks are crucial for assessment of the benefits and risks of the vaccination.

Usually, the biosynthesis of these natural products is governed by sets of co-regulated and physically clustered genes known as biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs). To share information about BGCs in a standardized and machine-readable way, the Minimum Information about a Biosynthetic Gene cluster (MIBiG) data standard and repository was initiated in 2015.

While anti-EGFR inhibitors have improved survival rates, their long-term efficacy is limited by disease progression, which is often associated with the development of acquired resistance mutations. However, some patients may regain sensitivity to anti-EGFR agents after alternative therapies, suggesting a potential benefit for rechallenge strategies.

Methods: Observational retrospective study of 52 eyes of 38 HIV patients with OT.
Results: 68% of patients were male.
Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, migrant workers in India have gone through many hardships. After the lockdown, many construction sites, factories, and workplaces shut down, and innumerable migrant workers faced a loss of income, shortage of food, and uncertain future. This massive change in their living conditions made them vulnerable to psychological problems.

TERT promoter mutations, in particular, are associated with a poorer prognosis and aggressive clinical behavior.
Methodology: This study explores the genetic interplay between TERT and other genes (ntrk, pdl1, alk, idh, p53, egfr, her2) in brain tumors through an integrative literature review.
Background And Objectives: Little is known about the views of service providers currently working in telehealth early medical abortion (EMA) provision in Victoria, Australia. This study aims to contextualise the enablers and barriers to telehealth EMA provision, providing insight for healthcare policy and practice to improve the accessibility of this service.
Method: This was a qualitative descriptive study involving semi-structured interviews with 14 Victorian stakeholders with expertise and knowledge on telehealth EMA provision.
The mechanical properties of the mammalian cell regulate many cellular functions and are largely dictated by the cytoskeleton, a composite network of protein filaments, including actin, microtubules, and intermediate filaments. Interactions between these distinct filaments give rise to emergent mechanical properties that are difficult to generate synthetically, and recent studies have made great strides in advancing our understanding of the mechanical interplay between actin and microtubule filaments. While intermediate filaments play critical roles in the stress response of cells, their effect on the rheological properties of the composite cytoskeleton remains poorly understood.

Introduction: Metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients who are refractory to initial treatment lines exhibit a challenging clinical scenario characterised by a poor prognosis and constrained therapeutic options. This systematic review and meta-analysis assess the integration of bevacizumab into trifluridine-tipiracil (TFD/TPI) therapy for mCRC, examining its benefits across patient subgroups and evaluating safety relative to TFD/TPI monotherapy.
Materials And Methods: Following preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis statements, we conducted a thorough literature search from 15 October to 11 November 2023, covering MEDLINE, Embase and the Cochrane database.
: Core outcome sets (COS) represent agreed-upon minimum outcomes that should be reported in all studies in a given topic area. Cochrane reviews are considered among the most rigorously conducted systematic reviews (SRs). In 2019, seven of the first 100 published Cochrane SRs (7%) cited a COS in relation to choosing outcomes.
