Objective Of The Study: To determine an optimal noninvasive radiologic examination method (computed tomography or roentgenography) in early diagnostics of pulmonary tuberculosis.
Materials And Methods: We have selected 43 patients with diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis, who were examined using roentgenography and computed tomography during 2002-2006. Data were confirmed by biopsy or bacteriological test.
Aim of this study was to estimate the diagnostic possibilities of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the assessment of treatment effect in malignant lymphomas. In the period of 1998 to 2002, 196 patients with histologically proven malignant lymphoma were examined in the Department of Tomography of Kaunas University of Medicine Hospital. The data were processed with SPSS 10.

In the period of 1998 to 2002, 81 patients with malignant lymphomas with coverage of neck and body areas were examined in the Department of Tomography of Kaunas University of Medicine Hospital. It was performed by computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with or without iv.

Renal lymphoma is most often seen in conjunction with multisystemic, disseminated lymphoma. Renal lymphoma may also be seen as primary disease. Computed tomography (CT) is the most sensitive, and comprehensive examination for evaluation of the kidneys in patients with suspected renal lymphoma.

During 1998-2001 at the Department of Nuclear medicine, Kaunas University Hospital 68 patients with lymphomas (50 patients with Hodgkins disease (HD), 18 with non-Hodgkins (NHL)) underwent Tc 99m MIBI whole-body imaging. Of the 47 lymphoma lesions showed abnormal MIBI uptake.
