Methods: A longitudinal, prospective, single-centre cohort study was conducted from September 18th, 2023, to January 23rd, 2024 at Lille University Hospital (Lille, France). A liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method was developed for the simultaneous quantification of residues of spiramycin, a macrolide antibiotic, and its active metabolite neospiramycin in cow's milk as well as in minor species 'milk, goat and ewe.
