New onset of uveitis during infliximab treatment: A case report.

Introduction: Anti-tumor necrosis factor α (anti-TNF α) agents are an effective treatment for a variety of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. In ophthalmology anti-TNF α began to emerge as a possible therapy for non-infectious uveitis, paradoxically their administration may result in the onset or recurrence of inflammatory eye disease such as uveitis. We reported a case of new onset of bilateral anterior and intermediate uveitis in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) while being treated with infliximab and we performed a review of literature.

[Pneumomediastinum and vomiting: Which approach to diagnosis? A case report].

Background: Spontaneous pneumomediastinum (SPM) is a rare and often unrecognized condition of which vomiting is one of the reported triggering factors. Differentiating SPM from Boerhaave's syndrome (pneumomediastinum secondary to esophageal breach) is the first step in management and prognosis.

Observation: A 27-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematous presented to the emergency department with epigastralgia, incoercible vomiting and diarrhoea.

Non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis in Tunisia: main characteristics and detailed comparison with ankylosing spondylitis.

Objectives: The aim of the present study is to compare the clinical features, disease activity, and physical impairment between non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis in Tunisian patients.

Methods: This is a retrospective study conducted in a single rheumatology center in Tunisia. Patients with axial spondyloarthritis fulfilling the 2009 ASAS criteria were included.

Predictors of the effectiveness of acupuncture in smoking cessation in coronary patients: a prospective study of 25 patients.

Background: Smoking cessation should be a priority for smokers, especially coronary patients.

Aim: To study the place and effectiveness of acupuncture in smoking cessation in coronary patients.

Methods: We conducted a prospective open-label study of 25 coronary smokers treated by acupuncture over a 10-month period, from June 2017 to March 2018.

Possible macrophage activation syndrome following initiation of adalimumab in a patient with adult-onset Still's disease.

Macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) has been rarely reported in the course of adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD) and in the majority of cases, it was triggered by an infection. Here, we report, to our knowledge, the first case of MAS occurring after adalimumab treatment initiation and not triggered by an infection. A 26-yearold woman with classical features of AOSD developed persistent fever, severe bicytopenia associated with extreme hyperferritinemia, hyponatremia and abnormal liver function tow months after the initiation of adalimumab treatment.

Prevalence of celiac disease in Tunisia: mass-screening study in schoolchildren.

Background: Celiac disease is reported to be common among North Africans, particularly Tunisians. Nevertheless, the prevalence of coeliac disease in the general population has not been previously investigated.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of celiac disease among children in Tunisia and to describe the clinical profile of the screened patients.
