Peyronie's disease: a case study with clinical implications.

Peyronie's disease involves the development of fibrous plaques in the connective tissue of the penis usually near the dorsal midline of the penile shaft in middle-aged and older men. This case study describes a 57-year-old man who presented with a history of prostatitis and complaints of anxiety related to penile pain and erectile difficulties. The diagnostic work-up and clinical interaction are described.

Preferences for teaching methods in a baccalaureate nursing program: how second-degree and traditional students differ.

Accelerated baccalaureate nursing programs are in great demand in the United States. Currently there are 197 such programs, but little research has been conducted on student characteristics and program outcomes. This quantitative study explores preferences of second-degree students and traditional generic students with regard to teaching methods and relationships with faculty.
