A compound of lithium and nicotinic acid--lithonite was used phonophoretically in complex with non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs in 40 patients with rheumatoid arthritis according to a method developed by the authors. The efficacy of complex treatment was 95%. There were no side-effects.
