Microcystin LR (MC-LR) pollution is a serious threat to aquatic ecosystems and public health in China and is an environmental problem that urgently needs to be solved. However, few studies have investigated the anaerobic degradation pathway and related molecular biological mechanisms of MC-LR. In this study, a bacterium capable of degrading MC-LR with a degradation efficiency of 0.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTrophoblast glycoprotein (TPBG) plays a significant part in the growth of specific cancers, yet its connection to gastric cancer (GC) remains uncertain. This research seeks to analyse the fluctuation in TPBG levels in GC and evaluate how TPBG expression relates to the prognosis of GC patients. TPBG expression in GC and normal gastric tissues was investigated in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) database, further extracting the immunohistochemistry images from HPA database and validating by Western blot.

This research explored the effect of high-fiber diet based on gut microbiota on chronic heart failure (HF) patients. Chronic HF patients, who had undergone a dietary survey indicating a daily dietary fiber intake of less than 15g/d were divided into the control and study groups (n = 50). In addition to conventional heart failure treatment, the study group received dietary guidance, while the control group did not receive any dietary guidance and maintained their usual low-fiber dietary habits.

It encompasses a spectrum of lymphoproliferative lesions, ranging from benign reactive hyperplasia to malignant tumors, and is among the most severe complications following liver transplantation in children. It is essential for clinicians to gain a comprehensive understanding of the prevention, clinical manifestations, early diagnosis, and treatment strategies for PTLD in order to reduce mortality rates.

Phytohormone Gibberellin (GA), essential for plant growth and development are widely reported for expansion in flower. DELLA proteins are known to negatively regulate GA signaling and influences plant growth and development through the regulation of cell expansion.
