Background: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) infection or exposure associated with soft tissue deficiency represents a challenging scenario for the reconstructive surgeon. The aim of the study is to determine the most successful reconstructive option for infected or exposed TKA comparing local muscle flaps (LMF), local fasciocutaneous flaps (LFF), and free muscle flaps (FMF).
Methods: A systematic review and single-arm network meta-analysis (PRISMA) was conducted to compare outcomes of complicated TKA requiring soft tissue coverage with either LMF, LFF and FMF.
Cranioplasty using Hydroxyapatite prosthesis is a conceptually simple procedure, but it may harbor several challenges for the surgeons. Several papers in the literature deal with cranioplasty using porous hydroxyapatite. The results are not homogeneous both because of the variability of the patients treated but also because Hydroxyapatite requires a more careful surgical technique to achieve maximum performance.

Background: Throughout the last decade, a notable increase in HA-filler-related complications have been observed, owing to the increase in demand for filler injections and availability of multiple products.
Objectives: The aim is to provide practical advice on the best way to prevent and treat HA-filler-related complications.
Methods: Thirty patients who experienced visible and/or symptomatic complications localized within the facial area were treated according to our algorithm.
