[A method for the diagnosis of optic nerve function].

A new diagnostic method for estimation of functional state of optic nerves with vasoactive drug corinfar is described in the article. 25 patients with simple optical nerve atrophy related to lesions of chiasmal area were examined. The conclusion was made that use of corinfar in atrophy of nervus opticus allows to assess more accurately functional state of the organ and prognosticate recovery of vision in postoperative period.

[Ultrasonic therapy in the combined treatment of patients with eye movement disorders in intracranial arterial aneurysms].

Results are reported of using ultrasound therapy in the complex of oculomotor disorders in 14 patients who underwent an endovascular operation of occluding saccular aneurysms of the internal carotid artery in comparison with 25 control patients who were treated by routine methods. The proposed method proved efficient and is recommended for wider use in this kind of pathology.

[Rehabilitative treatment in functional disorder of the oculomotor nerve in patients with intracranial arterial aneurysm].

Data are reported by the authors on electric stimulation of the oculomotor muscles in 26 patients who underwent the operation of endovascular occlusion of saccular aneurysms of the supraclinoid portion of the internal carotid artery. This method of rehabilitation treatment proved effective and is recommended for wider use.
