The effectiveness of surgery, immunomodulator "Vilon" therapy, and their combination in the treatment of experimental endometriosis in rats was assessed by the parameters of reproductive function. The experiments demonstrated that surgery combined with intraperitoneal application of "Vilon" is a promising option in the treatment of endometriosis.

This research is aimed to establish regularity of changes of the peak characteristics of uterus bioelectric activity according to outside multichannel electrohysterography of healthy pregnant women in the third trimester. The research of uterus bioelectric activity of women with physiological pregnancy at 28 to 40 weeks of gestation was carried out with use of electrophysiological methods. Three groups of women were distinguished according to their pregnancy duration.

Interactions between different types of immune cells and organically-modified silica nanoparticles were studied. The silica particles functionalized with amine groups were prepared by sol-gel technique. Sheep immunoglobulin labeled with fluoresceine isothiocyanate was immobilized by adsorption onto the nanoparticles.

To detect additional markers of placental insufficiency in gestosis accompanied by labor impairments, the authors have performed a comprehensive placental morphological study using organometric, histological, morphometric, and immunohistochemical techniques. Along with the earlier established markers, VEGF and vWF have been found to be additional markers of placental insufficiency. The latter make it possible not only to diagnose, but also to specify the stages of placental insufficiency.
