[Serum values of cytokines in patients with ischemic heart disease and arterial hypertension.].

The studied levels of cytokines (levels of Pro-inflammatory cytokine - interleukin-1β, anti-inflammatory cytokine - interleukin-10, CD40 ligand (CD40L)) in patients with arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease. Indicators of Pro-inflammatory cytokine - interleukin-1β and anti-inflammatory cytokine - interleukin-10 were significantly increased in patients with arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease compared with values in healthy individuals. Elevated interleukin-1β and CD40L in patients with arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease compared with values in healthy individuals indicate inflammatory process in the endothelium.

[The heterogeneity of the antilysozyme activity in populations of opportunistic enterobacteria].

1,484 clones of 104 strains representing 11 genera of the family Enterobacteriaceae and having different levels of lysozyme activity were tested for the presence of this activity. In the populations of 53.9% of strains under study the heterogeneity of the levels of antilysozyme activity was noted.

[A clinical observation of vinyl chloride-induced disease].

Analysis is performed on the observed clinical picture of vinyl-chloride disease in 12 persons, developed at concentrations of toxic substance about MAC after exposure from 5 to 34 years. After enlarged clinical test on individual organs and systems the authors establish that the most frequent result of chronic poisoning with vinyl-chloride is the combination of peripheral neurovegetative symptoms with toxic hepatitis on the background of neurosis-similar (astheno-vegetative) manifestations. In the cases, observed by the authors, the poisoning takes a light course affecting the neurovegetative structures and prevailing of the vegetovasal forms of polyneuropathy ending with Raynaud-similar syndrome, or affecting the distal parts of the peripheral nerves with early electromyographic find.

[Neurovegetative reactivity among female workers systematically locally exposed to cold and overexertion].

Workers from different occupations associated with cooling of the upper extremities are exposed to chronic local cold effect in their daily work. The objects of the present study were 45 females, engaged in packing of cooled fruits and vegetables, stored in freezing chambers. The following methods were used aiming at the studies on the neurovegetative reactivity and the task proceeding from it in objectivization of the neurovegetative disturbances of the upper extremities: directed neurologic and autonomic anamnesis, routine neurological state, clinical-functional autonomic tests and methods.
