Aim: To analyze efficiency of ozone therapy, ultrasound and cryotherapy for infected and purulent wounds due to chronic venous insufficiency.

Material And Methods: There were 127 patients with chronic venous insufficiency followed by chronic wounds. Efficacy of systemic and local ozone therapy was assessed.

[Predictors of hepatic insufficiency in obstructive jaundice].

Aim: To develop predictive model for hepatic insufficiency in obstructive jaundice.

Material And Methods: Obstructive jaundice was modeled by the author's method on 48 mini pigs, while morpho-functional features of erythrocytes were studied by using of INTEGRA Aura atomic force microscope (NT-MDT, Zelenograd, Russia). Histological specimens were stained with hematoxylin and eosin.

Control of dissipative solitons in a magneto-optic planar waveguide.

We propose a mechanism to control propagation of a group of stable dissipative solitons in a nonlinear magneto-optic planar waveguide. The control is realized by means of a spatially inhomogeneous external magnetic field, which is induced by a set of direct conducting wires placed on the top of the guiding layer. The wires are extended in the direction of soliton propagation, and carry electric currents with particular piecewise constant profiles.

C57BL/6N Mice Are More Resistant to Ehrlich Ascites Tumors Than C57BL/6J Mice: The Role of Macrophage Nitric Oxide.

BACKGROUND Effectiveness of the immune defense formed by the genotype often determines the predisposition to cancer. Nitric oxide (NO) produced by macrophages is an important element in this defense. MATERIAL AND METHODS We hypothesized that genetic characteristics of NO generation systems can predetermine the vulnerability to tumor development.

[Treatment of patients with trophic ulcer].

The authors present the investigation of inpatient treatment of 137 patients with trophic ulcers of venous aethiology. All the patients were hospitalized in the "Road clinical hospital" on the Krasnoyarsk station. A comparative analysis of treatment results of the patients with trophic ulcers using different medical methods was made.
