Pollination Across the Diel Cycle: A Global Meta-Analysis.

The daily transition between day and night, known as the diel cycle, is characterised by significant shifts in environmental conditions and biological activity, both of which can affect crucial ecosystem functions like pollination. Despite over six decades of research into whether pollination varies between day and night, consensus remains elusive. We compiled the evidence of diel pollination from 135 studies with pollinator exclusion experiments involving 139 angiosperms.

Single oral dose of gabapentin reduces vigilance and increases play behavior without changing mobility in New Zealand white rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus).

Objective: To evaluate rabbit behavioral responses and activity after gabapentin administration.

Methods: In this study, 5 intact female and 3 intact male New Zealand white rabbits aged 8 to 12 months were administered a single oral 25-mg/kg dose of gabapentin. This study was conducted from December 2020 to February 2021.

To address this, we asked whether visual traits of bumblebee communities varied at large geographical scales along a habitat gradient of increased tree cover.

Background: Little is known about the usefulness of collagen powder in secondary intention healing in patients undergoing cutaneous surgery.

Objective: To investigate the clinical outcomes associated with application of collagen powder in cutaneous surgery and patients' perceptions of the procedure.

Methods: A retrospective chart review of 266 patients who underwent Mohs surgery or excisional surgery at a single institution between January 2020 and January 2022, and who had secondary intention healing of wounds assisted by powdered collagen was conducted.
